has a psy trance and acid feel to it.

out-fuckin=standing
best mastering I've heard out of the rest of the would-be producers on here, and for the fact that it goes from beautiful rpg neo-classical to breakbeat trance is just awesome.
10/10 5/5 fav'd mofo
Thanks ^_^
*would blush... but i'm black xD

sounds like some of the oldskool techno records them DJ's used to spin up in New York
Ye lol it gets a little irritating tho but its a nice song thanks for the review

very suitable for an rpg bgm
(actually a big fan of chillout)
Thanks man! It would be cool to make some music for some games
rock
I REALLY like this, you have a really good thing going with this song...
I just have to say, master this track, especially the kick. I'm not dissing the heavy bass kick, because I'm all about it being heavy. Throw a compressor effect to make it not drown out the rest of the song.
nicely done though other than that, keep it bangin
Thanks a lot dude! Thats some good advice !
happycore
happycore may not be my thing but, I'm not one to 0 bomb something because of that.
mastering was on point... almost (I'll get to this later on in this review), and the oldskool vibe was awesome, sparked nostalgia from when I went to raves back in the day.
all I want to ask is... WTF IS WITH THAT KICK?! no bass either... that way-too-punchy-for-its-own-good kick is (no offense) straight crap, make it warmer to give it more presence, more intensity.
Thank you!
That's the happy-hardcore oldskool bassdrum. necessary for "real" happy hardcore music.
it doesn't only exist the "Hardstyle/Generic FL Trance" heavy kicks that everyone
uses. Downloading a "ready to be used and already masterized" VipZone Kick Pack doesn't makes anyone a master in music production.
90% of the songs released on the Audio Portal are of the same genre:
"Generic Tranc-ish heavely VST based and reverbered music"..yeah that's a good definition of the genre everyone makes. (Notice that i haven't included the offensive word "crap")
Paragonx9 isn't only great for the quality of his tracks, but most of all for having created an original and personal music genre.
Quote:"Make it warmer to give it more presence, more intensity." hehe..that's exactly what i said..this isn't "Generic Tranc-ish heavely VST based and reverbered music" this is "happy hardcore"..and normally reverbering the bassdrum means filling a song empty of ideas.
Making a punchy and synthetic bassdrum in this genre is essential, trust me.
Btw i'll work on the (in my opinion perfect) bassdrum =)

Hear "Happy Generation" from "Critical Mass" or "Children of the Night" by "Nakatomi" and then review that bassdrum again. ^_^
Thank you for your feedback
fuck yeah
I miss hearing demented gabber trax like this, nobody hardly spins it anymore cuz the records are so damn hard to find nowadays and the dj's who did spin this have retired from spinning.
hit home with the nostalgia, for that (and the fact that it's actually good), I give you a 5/5 and 10/10
(if you want to collab on some hardcore, hit me up)
Thanks man! Im glad you liked it
trance track
sounds like your mediocre filler trance track
the piano needs the gain turned down a bit though, it's piercing compared to the rest of the track.
cheers for the feedback ill tone down the gain
oh my lord
love the hard rock instrumental going on, that's the shit I like to hear
but your singing... or gargling... or dying... or whatever the fuck that is just ruined it for me.
Thanks for the honest review, the vocal style is called pig squeal and its used in many death metal bands.
